AI assistant
Ask questions about your projects and get answers grounded in your own workspace data.
The assistant is a chat panel that reads your organization's data: projects, tracked keywords, audit results and content briefs. It answers questions about that data, and helps you draft the next piece of work.
Open it from the sparkle icon in the top bar, or with the keyboard shortcut
Cmd + K on macOS and Ctrl + K on Windows and Linux.
What it can do
- Explain your numbers. "Why did the traffic on the pricing page drop last week?" The assistant looks at the audit history and position changes of that page and answers with what it finds.
- Summarize an audit. "Give me the five most urgent issues from yesterday's crawl, sorted by the number of pages affected."
- Draft a brief. "Write a content brief for the query 'seo audit checklist', based on the pages we already rank for."
- Compare periods. "Compare this month with the previous one for the blog project."
- Find work. "Which pages have impressions but almost no clicks?"
What it cannot do
The assistant reads your workspace, it does not act on it. It never changes a project, never launches a crawl and never sends anything outside the app. When a suggestion involves an action, it tells you which screen to open.
It also does not browse the live web. Its knowledge of your site is exactly what AidenSEO collected during your audits, so a page crawled a week ago is described as it was a week ago.
Check what matters
Language models sometimes state a wrong figure with confidence. Every answer cites the project, the audit and the date it used, and those citations are clickable. Follow them when a number is going to inform a decision.
Getting better answers
Name the project
Say "for the blog project" when your organization holds several. Without it, the assistant answers about the project currently open.
Give a period
"Since the beginning of the month" or "in the last 30 days" narrows the data and produces a sharper answer than an open ended question.
Ask for the shape you want
"As a table with the URL, the position and the change" gets you a table. Asking for a format up front avoids a second round trip.
Follow up in the same thread
The assistant keeps the context of the conversation, so "and the same for last month" works without repeating everything.
Conversations
Conversations are saved per organization and listed in the panel history. They are visible to you only, even though the data they discuss is shared.
Choose New conversation to start from a clean context, which is the right move when you switch subject. Delete a conversation from its menu, this is immediate and permanent.
Usage and limits
Each message you send counts against the monthly assistant quota of your plan: 50 on Free, 2,000 on Pro and Lifetime. The quota is shared by the whole organization and resets on your renewal day. The counter is shown at the bottom of the panel and on the billing page. See Plans and pricing.
The assistant's own replies do not count, only your messages.
Privacy
Your conversations and the data used to answer them are processed to produce the reply and are not used to train models. Content stays inside your organization, and a member of another organization can never reach it.
If your company forbids sending data to a third party model provider, an owner can turn the assistant off entirely under Settings, then General. The panel then disappears for every member.
