Create your account
Sign up with an email address or a social provider, verify it, and log in for the first time.
An AidenSEO account is personal. It carries your name, your login credentials and your notification preferences, and it can belong to several organizations at once.
Sign up with an email address
Open the app and choose Sign up. If you already have an account, use Log in instead: signing up twice with the same address fails with an "account already exists" message.
Enter your name, your email address and a password of at least eight characters. The strength indicator turns green when the password is long enough and mixes character types.
Submit the form. We send a verification email immediately and take you to a waiting screen.
Open the email titled "Confirm your email address" and click the button. The link signs you in and marks the address as verified.
The email has not arrived
Check the spam folder first, then confirm the address you typed. From the waiting screen you can send a new link, which invalidates the previous one. Corporate filters sometimes hold mail for a few minutes.
Sign up with Google or GitHub
Choosing Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub creates the account from the provider profile. The email address comes back already verified, so there is no confirmation step, and no password is stored on our side.
You can add a password later from Security if you want to log in without the provider. When your provider email matches an existing AidenSEO account, the two are linked rather than duplicated.
Why verification matters
Until your address is verified you can browse the product, but you cannot:
- accept an invitation to an organization,
- start a subscription,
- receive password reset emails.
Verification is what proves the mailbox is yours, which is also what protects your account if you ever lose your password.
Log in afterwards
Return to the app and enter your email and password, or use the same social provider you signed up with. A session lasts 30 days on the same browser unless you sign out or revoke it from Security.
If you forgot your password, choose Forgot password on the login screen. We send a reset link valid for one hour. Requesting a new link cancels the previous one.
Deleting an account
Deleting your account is permanent and is done from Profile. If you are the only owner of an organization, transfer ownership first, otherwise the workspace and its subscription would be left without an administrator.
